Ari turned three in October, and I've decided that in October each year I'll do a 'photo-a-day' project to get a real snapshot of his life in the month that he becomes a little older (my OCD is DYING that I have only started this year!) Here are a couple of my favourites from this year. The thought of looking back over these images with Ari in a decade or two? TEARS.
I was thrilled to have been asked to photograph three of this year's Etsy Australia and New Zealand Award winners; Min Pin (winner of the Art, Illustration, and Paper Design Award), Fabrique de Brunswick (winner of the Home and Living Award) and BankyMoon Plantstands (winner of the New Talent Award). Snooping into creative people's workspaces is seriously one of the best things about my job.
I'm really proud to have been part of this project by the Victorian Women's Trust, in conjunction with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and the Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project. Called "Our Voice Their Safety", the campaign aims to inspire Australian women to raise their voice against the treatment of women and children on Nauru. In this first video, we asked several women to read the real life story of a women seeking asylum in Australia.
